Wessling, Germany (13 January 2025) – Torqeedo, the global market leader for electric propulsion mobility on the water, today announces a downsizing in their Management Board. Heiko Vietmeier will assume the role of CEO in addition to his position as CFO, which he holds since November 2022. By mutual agreement, Fabian Bez no longer represents the company as CEO effective 1st January 2025, as he strives for new endeavors.

During his tenure at Torqeedo, Fabian Bez has contributed significantly to the successful development of the company. As Takayuki Sato states: “With him on board, Torqeedo has further consolidated its position as the global market leader for electric mobility on the water.
